For most of our careers we have been the people a Fortune 500 tax department calls when they need someone. We know what they ask, who they hire, and why strong candidates get passed over. Now we work with the candidates directly.
Tax and accounting professionals who are good at their jobs and about to be judged on something else entirely. An interview, a presentation to the audit committee, a year-end review that decides the next promotion.
You are a Senior Manager wondering whether to leave public accounting. A Tax Director interviewing for your first VP role. Someone whose technical work is unquestioned but who has never had to sell it out loud. We’ve placed several hundred people in these seats, and most of them stayed, which means we’ve watched what happens after the offer, not just before it.
We are not career coaches who learned about tax. We have recruited exclusively in tax, accounting and legal for a combined 30+ years. The questions we prepare you for are the questions we have heard hiring managers ask particular to their companies, industry and backgrounds.
“His genuine care, insight, advice, and proactiveness makes you feel prepared and confident…”

You may reasonably wonder: “If I coach with recruiters, does that give me an advantage with their clients?”
The honest answer is: it depends. General interview coaching can help build confidence. But confidence alone doesn’t generate offers. The strongest preparation is tailored to the specific organization, role, hiring manager, and interview panel.
That’s where our experience matters. We don’t simply prepare you to answer questions. We help you understand what is really being evaluated and how to communicate your experience with intention.
Our coaching fees are for preparation, confidence, and intentional execution.
And there is one important rule: If we are actively representing you for a particular role with one of our clients, we will not charge you coaching fees related to that search. And we will not advise an employer on a shortlist that includes a coaching client of ours.
That has always been a cardinal rule for us.
